What is CBD oil?
CBD (cannabidiol) is an ingredient naturally sourced from hemp plants that are bred for nutritional purposes. The CBD is primarily extracted from hemp paste, made from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant), with hemp seeds as a secondary source.
Is the CBD you stock full spectrum?
CBD oil is made from hemp oil and hemp paste which contains a full spectrum oil, providing a wide range of natural constituents alongside CBD, including CBN, CBG, CBGA and CBDA (small percentages) and all the terpenes inside.
Can I vape CBD?
CBD oil in the products we sell is only suitable for oral use and not to be used in a vaporizer or for smoking.
What is the country of origin of the CBD Oil in the products we sell?
How do I use CBD oil?
A few drops of the oil can be put under the tongue 2-3 times a day. The oil is then left in the mouth for 1 minute before swallowing. The recommended daily dose (max. 15 drops a day of CBD 2.75% and 10 drops a day of CBD 5%) should not be exceeded. CBD Capsules should be taken according to label instructions.
Can CBD be used for children?
We do not recommend CBD for anyone under the age of 16 years.
I don’t like the taste of CBD – what can I do?
CBD Oil has a 'distinctive' taste but having a small drink of water, milk, juice or coffee after taking the oil will result in the taste will being gone within 30 seconds. Alternatively, the CBD Capsules product can be used.
What is the difference between CBD and THC?
Marijuana types of cannabis contain high levels of THC. It makes you feel high, is addictive and it is a regulated substance that cannot openly be sold.
CBD is a cannabinoid, a substance which is formed in the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant. CBD is extracted from fibre hemp, a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species. The CBD in the products we sell is standardised to contain less than 0.05% THC, a level well below the amount considered to result in any psychoactive effect. CBD is not addictive.
Can I take CBD if taking other medications?
As with all food supplements, we always recommend that customers talk with their GP first if they are taking any medication.
