The Great British Beauty Clean Up
As part of our sustainability commitment, we’re partnering with the British beauty council to support the Great British beauty clean up campaign.
The following six stores across the UK will host a recycling box where you can return hard to recycle beauty packaging:
- Tottenham Court Road
- Marble Arch
- Glasgow Queen Street
- Birmingham Bullring
- Manchester Market Street
- Cardiff Queen Street
What you can deposit
The recycling boxes are for empty beauty and cosmetic packaging only, including:
- Make-up packaging (e.g. compacts, palettes, mascara tubes, lipstick packaging)
- Skincare bottles, jars and tubes
- Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion pumps
- Nail varnish bottles and small containers
- Travel minis and supplement containers
- Used or unused blister packs
Items that cannot be accepted
The following must not be placed in the recycling box:
- Aerosols or pressurised containers
- Liquids or partially full products
- Broken glass
- Hazardous or medical waste
- Food or liquid waste
We'll provide signage on the box which will guide you on acceptable items.
