Why have I received a product review email?
We sometimes send product review emails after an online or in-store purchase.
These emails give you the option to share your thoughts on the products you’ve bought, including how they fitted into your body’s routine, your day-to-day wellness, or your expectations.
Reviews are really helpful for other customers who are choosing products to support their own body, routine, or wellbeing goals.
You won’t receive a product review email after every purchase, as they’re only sent to selected customers.
Do I have to leave a review?
No, leaving a review is completely optional.
There’s no need to complete it unless you’d like to share your experience. If you don’t leave a review, we may send 1 or 2 reminder emails for that purchase, then the emails will stop.
Which products can I review?
If you receive a product review email, you’ll usually be able to review each item included in the purchase the email relates to.
This helps other customers understand how those products may support their own body, wellness choices, or everyday routine.
Why do I still get product review emails if I’ve unsubscribed from marketing?
Product review emails are separate from marketing emails.
Marketing emails usually include things like offers, promotions, product launches, and inspiration. Product review emails are linked to a recent purchase and give you the chance to share feedback on the products you bought.
This means unsubscribing from marketing emails won’t automatically stop product review emails.
Who receives product review emails?
Product review emails are only sent to selected customers who have either:
- an online Holland & Barrett account
- a H&B&Me Rewards account or card
You may not receive one every time you shop with us.
How do I unsubscribe from product review emails?
You can unsubscribe directly from a product review email.
To do this:
- Open a recent product review email from us.
- Scroll to the bottom of the email.
- Select Unsubscribe in the footer.
- Once you’ve unsubscribed, you’ll be removed from our product review email list.
It can take up to 48 hours for your preferences to update, so you may receive one more reminder during this time. You can ignore this.
Can I re-subscribe to product review emails later?
At the moment, there isn’t a way to re-subscribe once you’ve unsubscribed from product review emails.

I received a review email for a purchase I didn’t make. What should I do?
We’re sorry if you’ve received a product review email for a purchase you don’t recognise.
This email may have been sent in error. Please be reassured that your personal information and data remain safe, and no personal information has been disclosed.
You don’t need to do anything with the email. You can ignore it, along with any automatic reminder emails that may follow for that purchase.

Will ignoring a product review email affect my account or rewards?
No, ignoring a product review email won’t affect your account, rewards, points, or future purchases.
It’s simply an optional way to share how a product worked for your body, your routine, or your wellness needs.
