If you’ve had a new bank card issued since placing your order – maybe your old one was lost, expired or cancelled, you might be wondering if your refund will still go through, in most cases, yes, it will.
Here’s How It Works:
Refunds are sent back to the original payment method. Even if your card has changed, most banks will make sure the refund is safely routed to your account.
If your account is still open with the same bank, the money will usually land without any issues.
When Might There Be a Delay?
In rare cases, a refund might not go through if:
The bank account has been closed
The refund was to a prepaid or virtual card without a linked account
The bank is unable to redirect the refund from the old card
If this happens, don’t worry – we’ll work with you to get it sorted.
What You Can Do
If it’s been more than 5 working days since we confirmed your refund and nothing has landed in your account, here’s what you can do:
Check with your bank – they may be holding the funds or need to release them manually
Let us know – we’re happy to investigate further and help resolve it
If the refund has failed, we’ll look into alternative ways to get the money back to you.
What If I Paid by PayPal, Apple Pay or Clearpay?
You’re still covered. These services handle card changes internally, so the refund will go back to your account as normal.
