Refunds to a new or replaced card
If you’ve had a new bank card since placing your order, maybe your old one expired or was replaced, it’s completely normal to wonder where your refund will land.
The good news is, in most cases, your money will still find its way back to you without any extra effort.
How refunds work
Refunds always go back to your original payment method.
Even if your card details have changed, your bank usually takes care of this behind the scenes, routing the money safely back to your account.
As long as your account with the same bank is still open, your refund should land as expected.
When things might take a little longer
Occasionally, your bank might not be able to redirect the refund straight away. This can happen if:
- Your bank account has been closed
- You paid using a prepaid or virtual card without a linked account
-
Your bank can’t match the old card to your current account
If that happens, we’ll step in and help you get things moving again.
What to do if your refund hasn’t arrived
If it’s been more than 5 working days since we confirmed your refund and you’ve not seen it yet:
- Check with your bank first – sometimes your funds are there, just waiting to be released.
- Get in touch with us – we’ll take a closer look and help get things sorted.
